Behind-the-Wheel (B-T-W) Training: 6 hours

Observation Hours: 4-6 hours

Curriculum: The AAA HOW TO DRIVE curriculum, approved by the State of Michigan

Parent Meeting: Both the student and parent must attend the required parent meeting

Attendance Requirement: Students must attend all 12 classes and achieve at least a 70% score on the State exam to pass

Preparation: Students should be ready to begin driving during the course
The program has clear attendance and participation expectations, so if any of these requirements are not feasible, it's advised not to sign up for this month.
Classroom Format and Participation
“No Excuse” Driving School L.L.C. provides Michigan Segment One and Segment Two driver education using the required state curriculum, instructional hours, and program standards.
Classes are conducted in a structured group setting. Students should be prepared to participate in activities such as group instruction, discussion, note-taking, reading course materials, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
Students with an IEP, 504 Plan, or other accommodation needs should contact us before class begins so applicable and reasonable accommodation can be discussed. Accommodation cannot waive or eliminate required curriculum, instructional hours, participation requirements, examinations, or Michigan licensing standards.
Enrollment confirms that the student and parent/guardian understand and accept the group-classroom format and participation expectations.
